Article 4. Personnel And Employee Benefits

1-401. Social security.

The City of Anthony, Kansas, hereby extends the benefits of Title II of the Federal Social Security Act, in conformity with the applicable provisions of such Act, to the employees of the city, according to the provisions of Article 23 of Chapter 40 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.

1-402. Employee retirement.

Resolution No. 100 passed by the board of commissioners brought officers and employees of the City of Anthony under the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System as of January 1, 1966.

1-403. Personnel rules and regulations

(a) There is hereby incorporated by reference for the purpose of establishing employee personnel rules and regulations the document entitled “Uniform Personnel Rules and Regulations for the City of Anthony.” No fewer than three copies of said documents shall be stamped or marked “Official Copy as adopted by the 1995 Anthony City Code” and to which shall be attached a copy of this section.

(b) All subsequent amendments to the Uniform Personnel Rules and Regulations shall become part of said document.

(c) The official copies shall be filed with the city clerk and shall be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours. All departments and all employees of the city shall be supplied with copies of such rules and regulations as may be deemed necessary.
